A small business leader, Amy Cozze is the right choice for working families in the 137th district. Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Amy graduated from South Lehigh High School. After earning her degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, she rose through the ranks of her family’s business – starting off transporting engines to building the company’s international internet sales division. Wanting to build her own path, Amy left the company to start her own wedding cake business, which has gone on to win local and national awards for her unique and skillful designs.

After starting her business, Amy wanted to give back to her community by joining organizations that improve economic development in her town. She has learned what it takes grow an economy, and it’s not by cutting the top tax rate. Amy will bring the solutions she’s learned to help improve her town, to make the Lehigh Valley an area of growth and opportunity for all.

Amy faced her biggest challenge when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. While Amy is currently cancer-free she knows first-hand the challenges of having a pre-existing condition with high insurance premiums. In Harrisburg, Amy will ensure the right to good and affordable healthcare and fight for a system that prioritizes people over profit.

With Amy Cozze in the State House, the Lehigh Valley will have a champion that fights for the middle class and will improve our communities.
