Anita Kulik has made a career using the law to protect our families and senior citizens. After graduating from Duquesne Law, Anita served as a law clerk and then went into private practice where she specialized in protecting senior citizens facing abuse. She also protected domestic violence victims.
Through her law career, Anita grew frustrated at the lack of protections for vulnerable citizens coming from Harrisburg so she decided to run for office herself. In 2016, Anita was first elected to the 45th district and she hasn’t stopped fighting for Allegheny County since.
As the daughter of two educators, Anita knows the importance that well-funded schools have on the success of our communities. That’s why Anita has fought to continue reversing the devastating cuts to education, and will continue to invest in our future leaders.
Anita also knows that the success of working families in Pennsylvania depends on unions. It’s why she has constantly defended organized labor in the state house and has voted against dangerous Republican attacks to the unions.
With Anita Kulik in the state legislature, families and seniors will always have an advocate looking out for them in Harrisburg.
