Running for office is not just job for Steve Santarsiero, it’s a duty. After witnessing the 9-11 attacks from his law office in Newark, New Jersey, he knew he needed to give back more to his community. After taking night classes, he became a state certified teacher, teaching social studies at Bensalem High School.
Steve later was elected township supervisor where he worked with all parties to do what was best for his town. He then was elected in 2008 to the state house, where he served until 2016 when he was appointed as deputy attorney general for environmental protection in Pennsylvania. There he protected rollbacks to crucial environmental protections that keep our commonwealth healthy.
When he’s not working hard for the people of Pennsylvania, he coaches youth baseball in his community and is a member of the Board of Pennsbury Scholarship Fund. Steve Santarsiero has the experience and passion Harrisburg desperately needs. With his success in the state house, he knows how to get things done.
