For 25 years Sue Mulvey has worked to create safer and healthier communities. Now, she wants to do the same for all of Pennsylvania.
As a nurse, she has supported patients and worked to better the lives of children. Sue started the “warmth for winter” campaign at UPMC while she worked there as a nurse to collect winter coats for families who needed them. Now a school nurse, she saw that kids would go home for the weekend and not have the guarantee of food. In 2013 she started the non-profit WiNS, which has provided 37,000 packages of weekend nutrition to kids in the Crawford Central School District.
When Sue sees something that needs attention, she addresses the problem head-on. That is the kind of leadership and initiative the people of the 50th senate district need. With her knowledge and passion in both healthcare and education, she is set and prepared to work for the people of her district and start working for a better commonwealth for all people.
