For the past 29 years, Wendy Ullman has been an educator at Bucks County Community College and Montgomery County Community College. She is a proud member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Teachers, serving on the negotiating team that ensures educators receive a fair contract.
For too long, woman have been underrepresented in Pennsylvania politics and it has had an adverse effect on policy. Wendy will change that. She will be an advocate for women and their families by protecting reproductive rights, supporting women’s health initiatives, and adopting long overdue paid family sick leave.
Wendy is a lifelong environmentalist and knows that the state government must do more to keep Pennsylvania clean and beautiful. She supports an extraction tax on natural gas drilling, and will promote clean renewable energy solutions right here in Pennsylvania to lessen our economy’s dependence on harmful drilling. With Wendy in the state house, Bucks County will have a progressive champion fighting for their interests.
